NEXT Biometrics Group ASA – Board Changes

Oslo, 16 June 2026 – Reference is made to the annual general meeting of NEXT Biometrics Group ASA (“NEXT” or the “Company”) held on 19 May 2026, where the shareholders elected members of the board of directors for the period 2026–2027.

As announced in connection with the annual general meeting, the election of Jon H. Nordbrekken as a member of the board of directors was conditional upon the completion of the subscription period for the Company’s rights issue raising gross proceeds of up to NOK 50 million. The Company is pleased to announce that this condition has now been satisfied and that Jon H. Nordbrekken has today commenced his role as a member of the board of directors.

The Company further announces that Siri Gomnæs Børsum has informed the Company that she has decided to resign from her position as a member of the board of directors with effect from today.

The Company would like to thank Ms. Gomnæs Børsum for her valuable contribution and dedicated service during her tenure on the board and welcomes Mr. Nordbrekken to the board of directors.

Following these changes, the board of directors of NEXT Biometrics comprises:

• Tove Giske (Chair of the Board) • Jon H. Nordbrekken (Board Member) • Peter Heuman (Board Member)
