Hunter Group ASA - CEO to leave Hunter Group ASA

April 15th  2026

Hunter Group ASA ("the Company") has over the last six months delivered exceptional returns to its shareholders, due to better market dynamics and spot rates at historic highs.

This is reflected in the two charter- in and two charter-out contracts on two Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC), where the Company pays a fixed charter in and receives a spot index linked charter out on the same vessels.

Within the next 12 months both VLCC's will be redelivered and the Board has concluded that a new CEO is needed for the next phase of the Company. Therefore, the Board has decided to end Mr. Erik Frydendal's tenure as CEO.

The board would like to express its gratitude to CEO Erik Frydendal for his dedication to Hunter Group over almost a decade.

Mr. Frydendal has a 6 month notice period. His last day of employment will be at the latest October 31st 2026.
