Oslo, Norway, 4 August 2026 -- Circio Holding ASA (OSE: CRNA), a biotechnology company developing novel circular RNA expression technology for gene and cell therapy, hereby calls for an extraordinary general meeting (the "EGM") to be held on 25 August 2026 to resolve inter alia the election of new members of the Board of Directors.

The EGM will be held on Tuesday 25 August 2026 at 11:00 hours (CEST) as a physical meeting at the Company's offices at Tordenskiolds gate 2, 0160 Oslo, Norway.

The notice and agenda of the EGM are attached hereto, including further information on advance voting, power of attorney and physical participation. The notice and the nomination committee's recommendation are made available on the Company's webpage www.circio.com (https://www.circio.com/) under the heading "Investors".

The biographies of the proposed new members of the Board of Directors will be presented in a separate stock exchange notice.
