Odfjell Drilling Ltd – Equipment Handling Incident on Deepsea Atlantic

Odfjell Drilling Ltd. (“Odfjell Drilling” or the “Company”, OSE:ODL), notes that on 18 April 2026, during running of the Blowout Preventer (“BOP”), an incident occurred causing the BOP to drop to the seabed at an approximate depth of 1,100 metres. No personnel were injured during the incident and the rig is secure.

Operations on the rig are suspended while the BOP is recovered and any necessary repair work is completed. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
