MPC Energy Solutions publishes its results for Q3 2026

05. November 2026 kl. 07:00

Amsterdam/Oslo -- 5 November 2026

MPC Energy Solutions ("MPCES", "Company") published its unaudited results for the first nine months of 2026 today.

Operational Results

Year-to-date, the Company's operating assets produced around 77 GWh during the period and performed broadly in line with expectations. MPC Energy Solutions generated USD 7.7 million in revenue, project EBITDA of USD 5.5 million and USD 3.4 million in Group EBITDA. Overhead expenses are 16% lower compared to the same period in 2025.

Year-over-year comparisons are impacted by the divestment of operating assets in Guatemala, El Salvador and Colombia, which were sold during Q3 2026 and therefore contributed only partially to the reporting period.

The company increased its revenue and project EBITDA guidance for the year to USD 8.3 million and USD 5.9 million, respectively (previous guidance: USD 7.5 million and USD 5.5 million).

Free Cash

MPCES completed the divestment of three operating projects during the third quarter and collected total gross proceeds of USD 31.8 million, excluding USD 2.2 million which remains held in escrow and may be released upon the satisfaction of certain conditions and the resolution of an ongoing purchase price adjustment process.

Following these transactions, the Company executed the share capital reduction approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting in May 2026 and returned approximately USD 29.4 million to shareholders on 4 September 2026.

The Company reported a free cash position of USD 2.0 million as of 30 September 2026. USD 2.9 million collected from divestments are still restricted as part of a minimum cash requirement and are expected to be released to MPCES over the coming 12 to 18 months.

Remaining Assets

Following the substantial progress of its divestment program, the Company now owns two principal assets: the solar PV plant Los Santos in Mexico and its minority investment in a US-microgrid developer. Management remains focused on evaluating opportunities to realize value from these remaining assets while maintaining financial discipline and reducing corporate overhead costs.

General Meeting

An Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") will be held on 8 December 2026. The Company published the notification to its shareholders earlier this week. Among other matters, shareholders will be asked to consider resolutions relating to the proposed delisting of the Company's shares from Euronext Growth Oslo. The notice of meeting and supporting documentation are available on the Company's website at www.mpc-energysolutions.com (http://www.mpc-energysolutions.com/).

The Management Board believes the proposed resolutions are in the best interest of the Company and its shareholders and recommends that shareholders vote in favour of the proposals.
