ATEA ATEA Rapport

Atea Q3 2026 financial report and presentation

22. October 2026 kl. 07:00

Atea reported strong growth in sales and profitability in the third quarter of 2026, driven by high demand for data center solutions.

Gross sales in Q3 increased by 12.6% to NOK 13.9 billion. All sales growth was organic. Hardware sales grew by 25.0% and software/cloud sales grew by 3.3%, while services sales were 1.9% lower than last year.

Currency fluctuations had a negative impact of 7.5% on sales growth, as sales in foreign currencies were translated to a stronger Norwegian krone compared with last year. Adjusted for changes in currency rates, organic sales growth in constant currency was 21.7%.

Net revenue (IFRS) grew by 16.9% to NOK 9.9 billion. Atea's gross margin was 26.0% in Q3 2026, down from 29.8% last year, due primarily to an increased proportion of hardware in the revenue mix. Operating expenses fell by 0.3% to NOK 2.2 billion. The average number of full-time employees increased by 63 (0.8%) from last year.

Based on strong sales performance and low growth in operating costs, EBIT in Q3 2026 increased by 16.5% to NOK 405 million. Profit before tax increased by 24.1% to NOK 362 million. Net profit after tax was NOK 279 million, compared with NOK 226 million last year.

Atea CEO Steinar Sønsteby commented: "Atea's strong momentum continued in Q3, as we gained market share and delivered organic sales growth of 22% in constant currency. We achieved this growth with almost no increase in staffing, demonstrating our ability to capture efficiency gains. Demand remains particularly robust for datacenter equipment, a segment where Atea has a strong market position. Higher hardware prices are also supporting growth. Looking ahead, we expect strong financial performance to continue in 2027, driven by favorable market conditions, further market share gains and continued efficiency improvements."
