Key information relating to cash dividend to be paid by Vår Energi ASA

Sandnes, Norway, 21 October 2026: Reference is made to the announcement by Vår Energi ASA (OSE: VAR) on 21 October 2026 regarding the notice of an extraordinary general meeting ("EGM"), to be held on 11 November 2026 to approve a dividend of NOK 1.368 per outstanding share per 16 November 2026, limited in aggregate to a maximum of NOK 3 754 884 578 in total, equivalent to approximately USD 400 million, relating to Q3 2026.

The maximum aggregate dividend amount, corresponding to the NOK equivalent of approximately USD 400 million, assumes that the combination with BlueNord ASA has been completed by 16 November 2026. Should the combination not be completed by that date, BlueNord ASA shareholders will instead receive compensation corresponding to the dividend of NOK 1.368 per Vår Energi share as cash consideration upon completion of the combination, in accordance with the approved merger plan.

The dividend will, subject to approval by the EGM, be paid in NOK, and the NOK dividend amount is based on the daily exchange rate published by Norges Bank 20 October 2026 approximately at 1600 CEST.
