Nordic Mining ASA - Production update for the third quarter of 2026
Nordic Mining is publishing the production update for the third quarter of 2026.
The Company delivered on the updated production plan announced in August, with garnet production approximately 20% ahead of plan and rutile production on plan.
A total of 311,122 tonnes of ore was milled in the quarter, an increase of 7% from the second quarter. Rutile production increased by 74% to 2,190 tonnes, while garnet production increased by 10% to 11,161 tonnes.
During the quarter, the Company onboarded a dedicated ramp-up team from Hatch. The team is providing technical support focusing on stabilising the plant feed, improving the mill grinding processes and optimising the wet and dry plants to further support the ramp-up in the coming period.
Production volumes trended positively towards the end of September. Operations in October have so far seen some minor interruptions related to local protests, however the plant is operational and producing.
Q3 2026 production (Q2 2026 in brackets):
- Rutile: 2,190 mt (1,262) - Garnet: 11,161 mt (10,127) - Ore milled: 311,122 mt (290,280)
Nordic Mining ASA will publish the third quarter results on November 3rd, 2026.
