Credit ratings affirmed

AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of "a-" (Excellent) of Protector Forsikring ASA. The outlook of these Credit Ratings is stable.

According to AM Best the ratings reflect Protector's balance sheet strength, which is assesses as strong, as well as Protector's strong operating performance, neutral business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.

Protector's risk-adjusted capitalisation, as measured by Best's Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR), was at the strongest level at year-end 2025. AM Best expects this ratio to be maintained, at the least, at the very strong level prospectively, with retained earnings anticipated to continue supporting the company's growth plans.
