Omda wins oncology software framework agreement in Region Stockholm

The framework agreement gives eligible healthcare providers, including Karolinska University Hospital and Region Gotland, access to Omda Cytodose and related services.

Omda has signed a framework agreement with Region Stockholm for an oncology treatment management system and related products and services.

The procurement was announced with an estimated framework value of approximately SEK 65 million. Healthcare organisations eligible to place orders under the framework include hospitals governed by the Acute Hospitals Committee, Karolinska University Hospital and Region Gotland.

Karolinska University Hospital has been an Omda customer for more than 15 years, making the new framework both a renewal and an opportunity to expand this long-standing relationship. The Karolinska hospital is recognised as one of Europe’s leading cancer hospitals, underlining the demanding clinical environment Omda’s solutions are designed to support.

Omda Cytodose supports mission-critical workflows throughout oncology medication management, connecting physicians, pharmacists and nurses across prescribing, preparation and administration. The solution uses clinically validated treatment protocols and patient parameters to support accuracy, traceability and patient safety.

The agreement reinforces Omda’s position as a leading Nordic provider of specialised software for oncology medication management. It also marks a shift from distributor-based sales in Sweden to a direct-sales model, giving Omda a closer customer relationship and while enhancing business sustainability.
