Transaction with NND to be completed early Q3 2026
The Norwegian Revised National Budget has been approved and the last remaining conditions precedent for completion of the transaction with Norsk nuklær dekommisjonering (NND) will be satisfied in the beginning of the third quarter of 2026.
The gain of NOK 330 million will be recognised at the time of completion in the third quarter of 2026, rather than in the second quarter as previously communicated. This will positively influence other operating income and EBITDA in the third quarter. Cash proceeds of NOK 780 million will also be received in the third quarter.
“We are very pleased with the efforts from all parties and stakeholders so far and look forward to concluding this complex transaction with NND”, says Geir Drangsland, CEO of Norske Skog.
