Nordic Mining: CEO Finn Ivar Marum resigns - Otto Søberg appointed interim CEO
Oslo, 30 September 2026 - Nordic Mining announces that Finn Ivar Marum, CEO of Nordic Mining, has notified the Board of Directors of his resignation, taking effect from today, 30 September 2026. The Board has appointed Otto Søberg as interim CEO.
Mr. Søberg is an experienced executive. He previously held the position as CEO of Kværner Energy, Kværner Oil & Gas, Aker Yards, and Agility Group. More recently he was the CEO of Export Credit Norway. Søberg is now a board professional and adviser. He will join the Company on 7 October 2026. Until then, Kjell Roland, Chair of the Board, will oversee the Company's executive management.
Mr. Marum is resigning to take up an executive position outside the mining sector. He will remain available as adviser to the Board and CEO for the remainder of the year with a particular focus on permitting and government affairs.
