Napatech Receives Follow-On Production Order for AI Infrastructure Design Win
COPENHAGEN, Denmark — August 13, 2026 (OSLO: NAPA.OL) — Napatech™, a leading provider of Programmable Network Interface Cards used in data centers, today announced that it has received a follow-on production order related to a major AI-infrastructure design win secured in 2025.
The order, from a pioneer in AI inference systems, comprises approximately 2,000 units and has a multi-million-dollar value, with shipments expected to commence in the first quarter of 2027. It represents the next phase of the customer’s deployment and signals the start of scaling to higher production volumes. The order follows the initial production order for 1,000 units announced in May 2026 and represents a significant step in the progression of the program from initial production to broader deployment. “This follow-on order marks the beginning of the scaling phase for this deployment and is an important validation of our AI infrastructure strategy,” said Kartik Srinivasan, CEO of Napatech. “As AI inference moves to large-scale production, the architecture of the underlying infrastructure is changing. The deployment utilizes Napatech’s programmable SmartNIC technology as a key component of the customer’s AI infrastructure solution, providing high-performance networking and acceleration capabilities for large-scale AI inference workloads.
The order is expected to have a positive impact on Napatech’s financial performance in 2027 and does not impact the company’s full-year 2026 guidance, which remains unchanged.
