Gold Road International plc operational update - October 2026

03. November 2026 kl. 07:30

Valletta, November 3, 2026. Gold Road International plc ("Gold Road") reports on its unaudited production figures for October 2026.

Gold Road processed 11.306 tons of feed in total. The feed included 5.285 tons from the Gold Road Mine (ore) and 6.021 tons of residues from legacy mining operations at the Tom Reed Mine (tailings).

14.569 grams of gold were poured as doré (468 ounces).

The timing of the gold pour is influenced by lag effects, batch structuring of sections of the processing and of the gold pour.

11.978 grams of gold were adsorbed onto activated carbon after leaching and the recovered gold, measured as the difference between head and tail grade at Gold Road, was 14.991 grams.

About 257 tons of underground ore are stockpiled on the surface as of 31. October 2026. The company applies the shrink stoping approach. Shrink stoping implies that the miners extract ore from the bottom up in horizontal slices, blasting the rock overhead. About 80% of the broken ore is left in the stope as a temporary platform to drill the next slice, before being extracted when the whole section (stope) is completed. This is an effective method, though influencing the timing of the gold extraction and processing. The underground mining operations have been running continuously in a 24/7 shift schedule since mid-October.

The mill throughput per hour fell, as ore requires longer grinding time.

The ball mill restart project is progressing. The discharge side trunnion has been manufactured, while the plan is to cast the feed side trunnion early November 2026 with installation planned for late December 2026. The manufacturing of the second filter press line is about to be completed.

The gold recovered in October 2026 originated, among others, from remnant mining in the 500 East section, in 4201, from the development of the Y-stope and the 970 section and from reprocessing of tailings from the Tom Reed Mine. Shrink stope mining is currently done in the Y-stope and in 4201, and the 970 section has been prepared for shrink stope mining. Mining is also progressing towards the East at the 500 level, now extending mining operations further East than ever before. Additionally, previously mined ore is hauled from multiple sections.

A review of sections accessible for remnant mining has been conducted, identifying sections to be mined in 2027 and the years thereafter. An AI-supported pilot to process data from a subsection of the 100.000 or so assays available at the mine has been completed, see presentation on the company's website.
