BCS: Intention to Grant for Norwegian Patent Application

Bergen Carbon Solutions AS announces that it has received a notification of intention to grant from the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO) for a patent application related to its CO₂ separation technology.
The patent application (PCT/NO2025/050020), titled “Method and Apparatus for Purification and Separation of Solid-State Carbon-Containing Material”, covers key aspects of the Company’s proprietary process for purification and handling of carbon-containing materials derived from CO₂.
The notification of intention to grant reflects that the application has fulfilled the substantive patentability requirements, including novelty and inventive step, subject to final formalities.
