9-2026 5th Planet Games Highlights Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews for this Week’s Season Four Invincible™ Series Debut from Skybound Entertainment

COPENHAGEN – March 20, 2026 – 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG), co-financier of the upcoming tournament-quality superhero tag fighting video game Invincible VS™, today shares an update on critic reception for Season Four of Skybound Entertainment's Invincible™ animated television series, which debuted earlier this week on Prime Video.

Since 2021, Invincible has aired as an adult animated television series streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. This week's Season Four release continues a streak of critical acclaim for the series, with overwhelmingly positive reviews and a debut 100% perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, the popular American review-aggregation website.

Rotten Tomatoes summarized: “critics say it (Invincible) remains arguably the best superhero show on TV, effectively combining explosive action with intimate storytelling and compelling characters.” RogerEbert.com commented that Season Four is “an undeniable series high,” while TechRadar reiterated that it is the “most intense and epic installment so far.” Screen Rant further commented that “Invincible really is (still) getting better and better with each season.” Dozens of additional Season Four reviews have shared similar sentiments this past week.

The prior Third Season is the most watched Animated season of all time on Prime Video, nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Animated Series in 2025, as well as consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations in 2024 and 2025. The first two seasons received “Certified Fresh” rankings on Rotten Tomatoes, and it was awarded the Rotten Tomatoes’ Golden Tomato Award for Best Animated Series in 2023.

Created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, alongside contributing creator Ryan Ottley, Invincible began as a comic book series running for fifteen years at Image Comics across a historic 146 issues. Invincible VS, from Skybound Entertainment’s in-house game development studio Quarter Up, is the first major video game set in the Invincible universe and will release globally on April 30, 2026.
