31-2026 5th PLANET GAMES AND SKYBOUND ACCELERATE PUBLISHING SUPPORT FOR WALES INTERACTIVE’S ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GAME SKER RITUAL

5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG), the Danish video game financing and publishing company, today announced to shareholders additional details regarding its initial publishing support activities for the popular zombie-survival first person shooter (FPS) Sker Ritual, provided under its new strategic agreement with developer Wales Interactive and in partnership with Skybound Entertainment. The agreement between 5th Planet Games and Wales Interactive for all global publishing rights across digital and physical channels for Sker Ritual was announced to 5th Planet Games shareholders on May 12. Since then, 5th Planet Games and Skybound have assumed full publishing operations, including managing digital storefronts across Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store.

In the coming weeks, 5th Planet Games and Skybound will focus on catalog optimization, promotions, store sales, and bundled offerings as part of broader Sker Ritual publishing efforts, while Wales Interactive continues to develop the game and guide the growth of the Sker franchise overall. 5th Planet Games and Skybound will also lead a SKU refresh and rebrand, updating storefronts with new marketing creative and increasing online and social media content catering to the game’s growing player community.

Sker Ritual is a haunting and intense round-based zombie survival first person shooter, where players can play solo or with friends in co-op mode. Players shoot their way through relentless waves of vicious horrors with high-octane objectives, upgrading steampunk weapons, collecting Celtic God powers, and surviving the onslaught of the Quiet Ones.

Since Sker Ritual’s initial launch, Wales Interactive has released over a dozen DLC packs to a dedicated player base. The spiritual successor to the survival horror game Maid of Sker, Sker Ritual, was first released in 2024 and has since earned several awards, most recently receiving multiple nominations for the 2026 MCV Awards. The game currently holds a “Very Positive” rating across thousands of Steam reviews.
