Elektroimportøren AS: Appointment of new Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Elektroimportøren AS is pleased to announce the appointment of Lars Tendal as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Elektroimportøren AS, effective from May 15, 2026. Lars Tendal succeeds Andreas Niss, with reference to the stock exchange notice dated February 12, 2026.

To ensure a smooth and orderly handover, Lars Tendal will commence his role in Elektroimportøren AS on May 4, 2026, and will participate in the presentation of Elektroimportøren’s Q1 2026 financial results on May 6, 2026.

Lars Tendal (born 1967) has more than 25 years of experience as a CEO and senior executive, with a strong background from both wholesale and retail operations. He brings extensive industry knowledge from the electronics and building supplies sectors, as well as strategic insight into the market through previous board positions within the industry.

His experience is particularly focused on transformation management, turnaround execution, and the creation of profitable growth.

Tendal most recently served as CEO of Brødrene Dahl (2022–2026). His previous roles include Executive Director at OBS Hypermarket (2018–2022), Partner at Falcon Industrial Partners (2016–2017), and CEO positions at Wenaas Workwear (2012–2016), Power Norge (2010–2012) and EVP at Posten Norge (2001–2010).

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from BI Norwegian School of Management and has participated in the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.
