6-2026 5th Planet Games Highlights Invincible VS™ ‘Game Informer’ Cover Story, Includes Reveal of Skybound’s Latest Playable Character

COPENHAGEN – March 4, 2026 – Today co-financier 5th Planet Games (OAX: 5PG) shares a significant update for shareholders about Invincible VS, the upcoming tag fighting game from Skybound Entertainment. Invincible VS is featured on the cover of the newest issue of Game Informer, a prominent and respected American video game-focused magazine and website. Included in the issue is the reveal of Dupli-Kate as the next playable Invincible™ character coming to the game when it launches this April.

Invincible VS will be highlighted across 14 pages in Game Informer (Issue 376) with articles providing insight into the game’s conception, development history, and design approach. The magazine will feature two cover art renditions from separate artists: the first by Invincible VS’ Art Director Dan Eder and the second by the Invincible comic series’ Co-creator Cory Walker. Both art renditions will appear either on the front cover or back cover depending on whether the reader is purchasing from a newsstand or is a monthly subscriber. The print issue will be available in the United States in late March, while a digital version launched this week on GameInformer.com.

This week Skybound and its first in-house game development studio Quarter Up also revealed a Dupli-Kate Gameplay Trailer at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83tV-uOkbMM. Highlighted in Game Informer, this Invincible character has the ability to duplicate herself, spawning multiple ‘Kates’ to ultimately overwhelm her opponents in a fighting match. Dupli-Kate joins a growing roster of fan-favorite Invincible characters that players can look forward when Invincible VS launches for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on April 30, 2026. Additional previously announced playable characters include Mark Grayson (Invincible), Thula, Bulletproof, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Omni-Man, Battle Beast, Powerplex, among others.

Invincible VS is the first major game set in the Invincible universe based on the acclaimed comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. Built from the ground up, the game features favorite characters, iconic locations, bone-breaking combos, and tournament-quality brutal superhuman tag fighting gameplay.

Physical boxed editions of Invincible VS will be distributed globally, including by 5th Planet Games across the Nordic region under its partnership agreement with Nordisk Interactive A/S; across Eastern Europe in partnership with Glomerk SA; and across the Benelux region in association with BIGBEN Interactive Belgium S.A.

The Invincible comic book series ran for fifteen years at Image Comics across a historic 146 issues. Since 2021, Invincible has aired as a critically acclaimed adult animated television series and taken on a new life with fans globally, streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. Season 4 of the Animated Series will debut on March 18, 2026.
