Selected to build Sunndal helsetun
Betonmast Røsand, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been selected to construct a new health centre for Sunndal Municipality. The contract, which is a turnkey project, has an expected value of around NOK 500 million, excluding VAT.
The project includes the demolition of the existing health centre, detailed design, and construction of the new Sunndal helsetun. Execution will be divided into two phases, and the facility will remain operational throughout the entire construction period. The new health centre will comprise 80 institutional care units and 32 new assisted-living homes.
“We greatly appreciate the trust placed in us with Betonmast Røsand being selected to build the new Sunndal helsetun. High-quality, modern healthcare buildings are vital for our local communities, and this project will provide Sunndal with a forward-looking facility for both users and employees. Betonmast has solid experience with similar projects, and we look forward to contributing our expertise to ensure a safe and efficient delivery,” says Peter Sandrup, CEO of Betonmast.
Construction is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026, after the standstill period has ended. Building work is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026. Phase 1 is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027, and Phase 2 in the second quarter of 2029.
