22. October 2026 kl. 07:00

(Oslo, Norway - October 22, 2026) Nordic Semiconductor ASA reports revenue of USD 235 million for the third quarter 2026, an increase of 32% from the third quarter 2025. Gross margin improved to 53% from 52% in the same quarter last year. Reported EBITDA more than doubled to USD 39 million from USD 16 million in the third quarter last year, with adjusted EBITDA increasing to USD 40 million from USD 18 million in the same period last year. The adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 17% from 10% in the third quarter 2025.

This represents another record quarterly revenue level for Nordic Semiconductor. Short-range revenue increased 30% to USD 216 million, with continued solid demand from both key customers and the broad market in all main end-user markets, whereas Long-range revenue increased by 70% to USD 17 million with increasing sales from a broader product portfolio and continuing growth in nRF Cloud Services revenue. Other revenue increased 18% year-on-year to USD 3 million. -Customer demand continued to grow in the third quarter, and we remain focused on delivering our plan across financial, operational and strategic priorities. We are continuously launching new products that strengthen our competitive position and expand our addressable market, and we see rapid adoption of the AI-assisted development tools we have launched to help our customers become even more productive, says CEO Vegard Wollan in Nordic Semiconductor.

-While our revenue growth has been strongest in the broad market over the past year, we also see a strong pipeline with key customers working towards introducing more intelligent end-user devices in the time to come. We have a very strong offering across compute performance, memory capabilities, power usage and compact size, and combined with leading edge AI hardware, software and tools this makes us well-positioned to benefit from the megatrend of universal AI adoption, adds Wollan.

Revenue for the first nine months 2026 amounted to USD 646 million, up 30% compared to the first nine months 2025. Reported EBITDA for the first nine months increased to USD 93 million from USD 51 million in the same period last year, whereas adjusted EBITDA increased to USD 100 million from USD 54 million in the first nine months 2025. On a rolling 12 months basis, revenue increased by 26% year-on-year to USD 816 million. Based on current customer orders and forecasts, Nordic expects revenue for the fourth quarter 2026 of USD 215-235 million. The gross margin is expected to remain above 50% also in the fourth quarter. The revenue and margin developments continue to support Nordic's long-term financial ambitions presented in 2024; to deliver average annual revenue growth above 20% from 2024 through the end of the decade, maintain a gross margin above 50%, and move towards the target operating model profitability level of 25% EBITDA margin.
