Kristin O. Augestad appointed interim CEO of Multiconsult

Multiconsult (OSE: MULTI) The board of directors of Multiconsult ASA has appointed Kristin O. Augestad as interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Augestad will serve as interim CEO while the company progresses the proposed merger with Rejlers.

Augestad currently serves as EVP Norway and will continue in that role while also serving as interim CEO. She has held a number of leadership positions within the group. She joined Multiconsult in 1997 and has been a member of executive management team for several years. "Kristin knows Multiconsult exceptionally well and has been instrumental in developing both our business and organisation over many years. The board is confident that she is the right person to lead the company through this important phase," says Rikard Appelgren, Chair of the board of directors of Multiconsult ASA. "I look forward to leading Multiconsult through this exciting and important period as we prepare for the planned merger with Rejlers and continue to support our clients and employees across the group," says Kristin O. Augestad. Karsten Warloe and the Board of Directors have mutually agreed that Karsten will leave his role as CEO. "The ongoing merger process has materially changed the context in which Karsten Warloe was appointed CEO. Against this background, the Board and Karsten have mutually agreed that a leadership transition is the appropriate way forward.
