5th PLANET GAMES INVESTOR UPDATE (OAX: 5PG):
Key Highlights: • New digital editions of Sker Ritual are now available for PC and consoles with optimized bundled pricing designed to lower the barrier to entry for new players and support additional long-tail revenue opportunities. • The launch is one of several publishing initiatives by 5th Planet Games and Skybound Entertainment under a strategic agreement with Wales Interactive to support Sker Ritual and maximize the value of the established game IP. • Sker Ritual has now been played by more than 2 million people; a milestone Wales Interactive announced earlier this year and reflects the strength of the title’s existing audience.
5th Planet Games and Skybound Entertainment announced this week the release of new digital editions for Wales Interactive’s popular horror shooter game Sker Ritual.
Originally released in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Sker Ritual is the spiritual successor to the acclaimed survival horror game Maid of Sker. Developed by independent, award-winning studio Wales Interactive, the game is now published by 5th Planet Games in partnership with Skybound Entertainment.
A new gameplay trailer https://youtu.be/DW6Sqg2SX9E with details on the new editions debuted earlier this week at UK Interactive Entertainment’s (UKIE) For One Night Only industry event, providing additional visibility for the title among stakeholders.
The new Sker Ritual: Nightmare Edition features the base game along with four previously released digital content packs, while the Sker Ritual: Inferno Edition includes the base game along with the complete collection of all digital content packs released to date, a total of 15 packs with unique cosmetics and items allowing players to fully customize their experience. By bundling existing content into clear, high-value offerings, these new editions are intended to lower the barrier to entry for new players while further monetizing the game’s existing content library.
In Sker Ritual, players battle waves of supernatural enemies, alone or in up to four-player co-op, while progressing through objectives, unlocking powers and upgrading weapons. Sker Ritual currently holds a “Very Positive” rating across thousands of Steam reviews and has maintained a dedicated player base since its initial release, when it quickly rose to the top of digital storefront charts. In early 2026, Wales Interactive announced that the game had passed the 2 million-player mark worldwide.
