Veidekke: To Build 51 apartments in Arendal
Veidekke has been awarded the contract to construct the fourth phase of the Bryggebyen development project in Arendal for Vindholmen Eiendom AS. The design and build contract is valued at approximately NOK 190 million, excluding VAT.
Bryggebyen is a major urban development project in Arendal, initiated by Arendals Fossekompani. Phase 4 is the first stage of the development that Veidekke will undertake.

The project comprises the construction of 51 apartments together with a parking facility and shared outdoor areas, marking an important step in the continued development of Bryggebyen at Vindholmen.

The project will generate important economic activity and opportunities for local businesses and suppliers, including consultants, contractors, and everyone involved. The seven-storey building will contain one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 47 to 109 square metres, all with sea views. Every unit will have either a terrace or a balcony. In addition, residents will enjoy access to a shared garden and an annex building featuring guest accommodation. Facilities will also include bicycle storage, a shared hobby room/workshop, guest rooms, and a summer lounge.

Construction of Bryggebyen will commence around the turn of the year and is scheduled for completion by June 2028. The contract will be included in Veidekke's order backlog for the third quarter of 2026.
