Veidekke: To partner on school project in Haninge, Sweden
Veidekke has entered into an agreement with Tornberget Fastighetsförvaltnings AB, the property company of Haninge municipality, to develop the school project Campus Haninge. The design and build contract is valued at approximately SEK 180 million and is expected to be completed in autumn 2028.
The Haninge municipal council has decided to co-locate upper secondary and adult education in the new education hub, Campus Haninge. The co-location will facilitate shared use, enabling upper secondary schools and adult education providers to utilise the same premises in a refurbished former primary school during both daytime and evening hours.
Veidekke has previously entered into a collaboration agreement with Tornberget Fastighetsförvaltnings AB covering phase 1 of the project - development from early-stage design through to construction start. Following completion of the design phase, the parties have now agreed to proceed with phase 2. Construction will commence after the summer and is scheduled for completion in time for occupancy at the start of the autumn semester 2028.

The new education hub, Campus Haninge, will provide young people in Haninge with the best possible foundation for employment or further studies," says Adam Simonsson, Chair of the Upper Secondary School and Labour Market Committee in Haninge municipality.
