REC Silicon ASA - New share capital registered

Reference is made to the extraordinary general meeting held by REC Silicon ASA on 12 March 2026 which resolved to, inter alia, (i) reduce the Company's share capital with NOK 378,563,093.10 by reducing the par value of the Company's shares from NOK 1 to NOK 0.10 (the "Share Capital Reduction"); and (ii) increase the Company's share capital with NOK 407,800,000 (the "Share Capital Increase") through the issuance of 4,078,000,000 new shares, each with a par value of NOK 0.10, in a fully underwritten rights issue as previously announced (the "Rights Issue").

The Share Capital Reduction and the Share Capital Increase pertaining to the Rights Issue have now been registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The Company's new share capital is NOK 449,862,565.90 divided on 4,498,625,659 shares, each with a par value of NOK 0.10.

Advisors: Arctic Securities AS acted as manager and bookrunner in connection with the Rights Issue. Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS acted as legal advisor to the Company in connection with the Rights Issue.
