Jan Erik Hoff appointed CFO of Kongsberg Maritime
Jan Erik Hoff has been permanently appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Kongsberg Maritime ASA and joins the Executive Management Team. Hoff has served in the role on an interim basis since June this year.
Jan Erik Hoff brings extensive experience from Kongsberg Gruppen, including serving as Group Vice President, Investor Relations. Following Kongsberg Maritime's stock market listing in April, he assumed responsibility for Investor Relations and Business Intelligence within Kongsberg Maritime and has served as acting CFO since 18 June. "I am excited to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer of Kongsberg Maritime. We are uniquely positioned through our world-leading technology, strong market presence and talented people. I look forward to continuing the course set by Mette and working closely with colleagues across the organisation to realise the significant opportunities that lie ahead of us," says Hoff. Mette Toft Bjørgen, who has served as CFO since the company was listed on the stock market in April this year, has decided to step down from the role and leave Kongsberg Maritime. Prior to the demerger and stock market listing in April, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Kongsberg Gruppen. "It has been an exciting journey to be part of the process of listing Kongsberg Maritime.
