Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA | Second quarter 2026 report
Oslo, Norway, 19 August 2026: During Q2 2026, Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA ("Cloudberry" or the "Company") nearly doubled EBITDA compared to the same quarter last year and entered into a transformative acquisition agreement to significantly scale its Nordic renewables platform.
Financial highlights
· Strong revenue growth: Consolidated revenue of NOK 190m (106m) and proportionate revenue of NOK 222m (157m). Revenue growth driven by increased production and higher realized power prices: · Production growth: Proportionate production of 218 GWh over the quarter (199 GWh in Q2 2025). · Higher prices: Realized an average net power price of NOK 0.85 per kWh (NOK 0.62 per kWh in Q2 2025) compared to the Nordic system price of NOK 0.75 per kWh over the quarter.
· ~2x EBITDA increase: Consolidated EBITDA of NOK 91m (43m) and proportionate EBITDA of NOK 101m (54m) primarily driven higher realized power prices.
Highlights during the quarter
· Transformative acquisition: Entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire a 758 GWh Nordic wind platform from Orrön Energy Holding AB, establishing Cloudberry as a leading Nordic renewable independent power producer (IPP). · Secured attractive financing: Received credit approvals to increase the existing credit facility by NOK 1,000 million to NOK 3,200 million, with an option to further increase the facility by NOK 750 million. · Acquired new BESS project: Acquired the Knutmasso BESS project (20 MW/ 40 MWh) at an attractive entry level which is expected to reach ready-to-build during 2026.
Subsequent quarter
· Dingelsundet commissioned: The 24MW/48 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in SE-3 was fully commissioned in July, delivered on time and below budget. · Extraordinary General Meeting: In August, Cloudberry held an Extraordinary General Meeting at which all resolutions required to complete the acquisition from Orrön Energy Holding AB were approved.
