Skybound Entertainment, together with Landfall and Aggro Crab, announced earlier this month a partnership to release a Physical Edition of PEAK for PlayStation 5. The popular cooperative climbing game has sold millions of digital copies to date across PC platforms, with the potential to now extend this success across consoles. In partnership with Skybound, 5th Planet Games is co-distributing the PEAK PlayStation 5 Physical Edition, which recently became available for pre-order at retailers to be released on December 9. On October 22, PEAK launched digitally across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. Videos promoting the console release and Physical Edition pre-order have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times to date. Dozens of media outlets spanning key markets have covered the news of the game's console launch and the PS5 Physical Edition pre-order launch, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from the player community.

Landfall and Aggro Crab originally released PEAK exclusively for PC in June 2025. Since then, the game has maintained an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating from players on Steam and earned widespread critical acclaim, including being named "Best Multiplayer Game" at the 2025 Golden Joystick Awards.
Skybound will distribute the PEAK PS5 Physical Edition globally, with 5th Planet Games supporting access to key European retail markets. This includes the Nordic region through 5th Planet Games' partnership with Nordisk Interactive A/S, Eastern Europe in partnership with Glomerk SA, and the Benelux region in association with BIGBEN Interactive Belgium S.A. PEAK is a collaboration between Stockholm-based Landfall and Seattle-based Aggro Crab, with the core development taking place in a chaotic game jam back in February 2025.
